Biostar ships custom-design Radeon RX 5000 series cards (but why?)

Well here's something strange. Biostar just released its first custom-design AMD Radeon RX 5000 series video cards. While we always welcome new products, it's a weird launch considering the RX 5000 series was launched over a year ago. AMD's next-gen products are expected within a couple of months so it's strange to see Biostar putting in this effort.

There are two models from Biostar; the company has a Radeon RX 5700 XT with a triple-fan cooling solution as well as a dual-fan Radeon RX 5500 XT card. Both cards use the reference clockspeeds.

Perhaps the only thing worth mentioning here is that the Radeon RX 5500 XT from Biostar has a full custom design, the company changed the default display outputs (3x DisplayPort and 1x HDMI) to 1x HDMI, 1x DisplayPort and 1x DVI. This makes it one of the few 5500 series cards with a DVI connector.
