YouTube channel GamersNexus claims NVIDIA has picked September 9 as the date to announce its Ampere-based GeForce RTX 30 series. Previous rumors pointed to a September 17th reveal. It's not sure whether that means immediate availability or just a paperlaunch. It's expected that Ampere will be a staggered release, which is the way it usually is, with models launching in September, October, and November.
Since we are still a month away from September 9th, it is possible that NVIDIA might adjust the timing as we get closer to the launch. The company will undoubtedly start teasing its upcoming series on social media at least a week sooner, as they did in the past. We expect to hear more from our sources in the coming weeks.
