Some more rumors about the memory configurations of NVIDIA's Ampere lineup. VideoCardz writes the guy that originally spread the rumor about a 20GB model now claims it's "confirmed" that the GA102 GPU will have 10GB, 20GB and 24GB configurations. There will reportedly not be a version of this GPU with 16GB of memory.

It's believed the GeForce RTX 3080 will have a 320-bit memory bus with 10GB memory while the RTX 3090 (or 3080 Ti) will have a 320-bit bus with 20GB memory. Then there's also the RTX TITAN Ampere, which is rumored to have a 384-bit memory bus with 24GB video memory. The RTX 3070 likely has 8GB and the RTX 3060 should have 6GB.
Right now, the main focus is on the 20GB model. This SKU is believed to be either RTX 3090 or RTX 3080 Ti. It has previously been rumored to feature 16GB or 11GB memory. An upgrade to 20GB would certainly be a major change.

Additionally, NVIDIA is also planning 16GB and 8GB models based on a 256-bit bus. This of course would be the GA104 board design for RTX 3070 series. The higher memory capacity could be reserved either for the SUPER model or the Quadro series.
Another persistent rumor is that NVIDIA will use GDDR6X memory. So far, there's been no official trace of the existence of this type of memory.
