Twitter leaker kopite7kimi, who correctly shared accurate NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30 series specifications weeks before launch, has some fresh information about what to expect from mid-range Ampere. The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 is expected sometime around November and there will likely be two variants, one based on the GA106 GPU and a higher-performing variant with the GA104 GPU. The latter is expected to adopt either SUPER or Ti branding.

The new info from kopite7kimi concerns the model with the Ti/SUPER branding. This model will reportedly use a GA104-200 GPU with 4864 CUDA cores. This means it has 1024 CUDA cores less than the GeForce RTX 3070. The memory configuration is expected to be 8GB of GDDR6 (non-X).
The GA104-200 GPU also appears on one of the roadmaps that we saw as RTX 3060 SUPER. The difference between the SUPER and Ti variant is so far only seen in a product SKU (10 vs 20). Both products may also be the same graphics card, as we were told multiple times that the name for higher-spec’ed 3060 has not yet been decided.
VideoCardz adds to the confusion by nothing there's speculation that Ti variants may launch after AMD's Big Navi announcement, and that SUPER editions may be an Ampere Refresh in 2021. This future Ampere Refresh may feature higher clocked memory.
