A photo emerged of what could be an engineering sample with AMD's Big Navi GPU. Posted on Asian tech site Bilibili, the mysterious card is believed to be an AMD RDNA2 architecture based model. Labels on the card indicate it uses "Typical Samsung 16Gb" and there are said to be 8 memory modules in total (3+3+2).

This implies a memory bus of 256-bit with a memory capacity of 16GB. For comparison, the GeForce RTX 3080 from NVIDIA has a 320-bit memory bus. This engineering card's memory bus is the same as the RTX 3070's 256-bit bus.

There's also a label that indicates this is an "XT" variant. Other than this, the card looks like an early engineering sample -- far from a retail product.
Another label says ‘Full ???? Typical XT A0 ASIC’. The XT variants are usually reserved for the Radeon RX series, meaning that this should be a sample of a gaming card, not a Radeon Pro.

The board is covered in dip switches and various voltage measurement points, it is indeed far from a retail product. There is even a huge CPU-type cooler is attached to the graphics processor. To the left, we can also see LED load indicators and at least two power connectors (one being 8-pin).
AMD revealed yesterday that it will introduce its Radeon RX 6000 series on October 28th.
