French tech site Cowcotland picked up a rumor that AMD has ceased production of its Radeon RX 5700 series GPUs. With the Radeon RX 6000 series reveal planned for October 28, AMD is reportedly cleaning out inventory of current-generation parts. It's believed that the Radeon RX 6000 "Big Navi" parts will start hitting retail shelves in November.
The website claims that both reference and custom designs are no longer manufactured. This means that the cards which are already on the market are representing the very last batch of these SKUs cards that will be available. Some retailers have increased the price of the Navi 10 cards in response to lower supply and this trend is visible in price spikes since July.
The Radeon RX 5600, 5500 and even the Polaris-based 500 series from 2017 are still in production.
