The existence of higher-memory capacity versions of Ampere GPUs from NVIDIA has been known since before the RTX 30 series launch, but it seems we'll have to wait a bit longer until these will hit the market. VideoCardz reports today that the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 20GB will follow in December. The same month we can also expect a 16GB version of the RTX 3070.

Additionally, the site heard NVIDIA has cancelled the GeForce RTX 3070 Ti with 6144 CUDA cores. The reason is unknown, it could be due to GA104 yields not being good enough as this model requires a fully functional chip.

The RTX 3060 Ti on the other hand is said to be delayed to mid-November.

AMD will reveal its Big Navi lineup later this month, on October 28. VideoCardz heard whispers that AMD will have three Navi 21 models with 16GB memory.
