Does anyone still remember Project Quantum? Shown over five years ago, this product was pretty bonkers at the time considering the state of AMD's products. It was envisioned as a liquid-cooled SFF PC with a dual-GPU Fiji card and an Intel Core i7 processor. At the time, AMD promised it would run any game in 4K at 60fps. The system consisted of two compartments, one with the hardware and one with a radiator plus fan.

Project Quantum never hit the market but it seems the idea is still alive at AMD. TechPowerUp reports the firm has a new patent listing that shows some drawings of Project Quantum. The patent was filed on February 6, 2020 and was granted on September 15, 2020.
Until today. Thanks to a Twitter user PeteB(@Pete_2097) who found a newly listed patent, the hope of Project Quantum is not yet dead it seems. On September 15th, AMD filed a patent for the Project Quantum, now protecting the unique design and possibly saving it for some time in the future. It is almost certain that the company has not abandoned the project, and it could be just waiting for the right time to launch it.
So are we getting a Zen 3-based Project Quantum with RDNA2 graphics?
