A bunch of specifications of upcoming AMD Ryzen 5000U mobile APUs leaked. These models have a TDP of 15W and a configurable TDP (cTDP) of 10W to 25W. As was known for some time now, not all Ryzen 5000 series APUs will be based on the new Zen 3 architecture. Some parts will be based on Cezanne (Zen 3) but other models will use the Zen 2-based Lucienne. The reasoning behind this is unknown.

Both Cezanne and Lucienne feature the same GCN-based Radeon Vega integrated graphics. All models feature SMT. Compared with the previous generation, CPU base clocks are up to 200MHz higher and GPU clockspeeds also received a boost.
The ‘flagship’ Ryzen 7 5800U SKU is said to feature 8 cores and 16 threads. This processor will feature 8 GPU Compute Units clocked at 2.0 GHz. The CPU will have 16MB of L3 cache, a double of what Ryzen 4800U and Ryzen 5700U have to offer (both 8C/16T SKUs based on Zen2).
AMD's announcement of the Ryzen 5000U APUs is expected at CES 2021. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this will be a digital-only event of course.
