A picture showing a tray of AMD Ryzen 5000 series processors hit Twitter. The photo reveals the Ryzen 5 5600X, the Ryzen 7 5800X, the Ryzen 9 5900X and the 5950X. These processors are expected to hit the retail channel on November 5th.

The chips are compatible with existing 500-series motherboards after a BIOS update. Owners of 400-series motherboards will also be able to upgrade but they'll need to wait a bit longer as beta BIOS versions for 400-series motherboards aren't expected until January 2021.
