VideoCardz reports leaked cryptocurrency mining performance figures of AMD's Radeon RX 6800 indicate the Big Navi lineup is quite powerful for mining.

The figures suggest the Radeon RX 6800 delivers 1.5x the cryptocurrency mining performance of the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090. If this is accurate, a Radeon RX 6800 can generate roughly $5 worth of cryptocurrency per day. Also worth noting is that the RTX 3090 costs $1,499, while the Radeon RX 6800 is set to launch for $579 next week.
If the rumor about 1.5x better mining performance of Radeon RX 6800 is true, then the graphics card could potentially reach 5 USD per day. That of course applies to a single GPU, The profitability increases dramatically when the GPU cost is considered. The RX 6800 non-XT MSRP is only 579 USD, while RTX 3090 costs at least 1499 USD.
Basically, if these figures are accurate, this is potentially bad news for gamers. Supply of Radeon RX 6800 series cards was already expected to be far lower than demand so extra demand coming from the cryptocurrency mining market isn't great news.
