Windows 10 build 1903 PCs to be forcefully updated to 1909

Computers still running Windows 10 version 1903 will soon be forced to upgrade to version 1909. Windows 10 version 1903 hits the end of its lifecycle on December 8, 2020 , meaning the operating system will cease to receive security updates. Microsoft announced it will soon start forced upgrades to version 1909:
Microsoft says on the Message Center and the Health Dashboard that devices running any edition of Windows 10, version 1903 version will be forced upgraded to Windows 10 1909.

To keep you protected and productive, we will soon begin updating devices running Windows 10, version 1903 to Windows 10, version 1909," the company explains.

"This update will install like a monthly update, resulting in a far faster update experience."
If you're still running Windows 10 1903, you can also use the manual update route via Windows Update. This way you can upgrade to the latest version of Windows 10, the October 2020 Update.
