An aircooled AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT video card has overtaken NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 3090 and is now the fastest video card in the 3DMark Fire Strike test with 47,932 points.

The card was benchmarked on a system with the AMD Ryzen 9 5950X processor, which was overclocked to 5.4GHz with LN2 cooling. What's really interesting is that the Radeon RX 6800 XT card itself used the stock cooler and was overclocked to 2650MHz. This means even better scores are possibly with better cooling like watercooling or LN2.
However, one thing to keep in mind is 3DMark's tessellation has been modified to presumably give the RX 6800 XT more performance, so Lucky's 47,932 score does not qualify on 3DMark's official scoreboards. But it does qualify for HWBOT, hence why it is valid as a world record on that site.
