The launch of both NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 30 series and AMD's Radeon RX 6800 series has been severely impacted by poor availability. Demand for these cards is so high that supply isn't able to keep up. And it doesn't look like things will improve anytime soon. NVIDIA said last week that it expects issues until early 2021 and now there are rumors about Radeon RX 6800 supply issues until 'well into 2021'.
Citing a statement from Azerty, a large Dutch e-tailer, Hardware.info supply of RX 6800 and RX 6800 XT cards is low and delivery dates are unknown.
The shop informs its customers that it's of no use to call or e-mail as they have no news about when cards will be available. Furthermore, the shop heard from market sources that delivery issues of AMD's Radeon RX 6800 series are expected to last for "many months", until far into 2021.
As such, Azerty advises customers to keep in mind that cards ordered today may take months to arrive.
