Last week MSI revealed its GeForce RTX 30 SUPRIM X series but it seems shipments have been delayed somewhat due to a product issue. MSI says it held off shipments to evaluate an issue that popped up last-minute. This has now been resolved and cards are on the way to the retail market.
"Yes, before all of the RTX 3090/3080 SUPRIM was about to hit retails/e-tails. We held back the shipment to evaluate some issue but it was fixed and should be ready for normal shipment schedule." the MSI rep told us. "This is just extra precaution since this is our new flagship model and want to make sure we delivery the premium product."
There are no details about why MSI paused shipments.
