Cyberpunk 2077, the year’s most anticipated game, launches on December 10th with NVIDIA DLSS and several ray-traced effects that enhance image quality, immersion and realism. Stay tuned for more details on December 10th and head to GeForce.com to learn more.
In the meantime, check out this recent RTX ON behind the scenes Cyberpunk 2077 development video, featuring new ray-traced and DLSS-enhanced footage.
NVIDIA also provides some Cyberpunk 2077 benchmark results, these no longer seem to be online but WCCF Tech has a copy over here. Without DLSS, Cyberpunk 2077 seems to be the new Crysis. With a resolution of 4K, Ultra Graphics and Ray Tracing, even the GeForce RTX 3090 can only achieve 22fps with DLSS off. With DLSS activated, the framerate umps to 57.8fps. And that's with DLSS in Performance Mode by the way, higher quality would result in a lower framerate. Maxing out image quality with RTX On and DLSS "Quality Mode" in Full HD mode seems to require at least a RTX 3060 Ti or RTX 2080 SUPER. Anything less will give under 60fps.
