FanlessTech has a new photo of the upcoming passive cooler from Noctua. Production will reportedly start soon so we may still see the launch sometime in Q1 2021. Based on earlier news reports, this heatsink will be one of the most powerful passive CPU coolers on the market.

The (still unnamed) cooler from Noctua is expected to weigh around 1.5kg and will be able to passively cool a processor with a TDP of up to 120W. Last year the firm showed a prototype with 1.5mm thick aluminium fins and six copper heatpipes.

On a related note, we also just learned that Noctua will introduce white fans in Q2 2021. Towards the end of 2021, the company plans to release a next-gen version of its NH-D15 as well as an updated 140mm fan.
