I4U reports Sharp has developed world's first LCD display with a contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1.
The 37-inch Sharp AS Premium LCD display has a 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution and features a brightness of 500cd/m².
This LCD display with Mega Contrast is primarily aimed at the professional TV and movie production industry, likely because it is still way too expensive for consumers.
