VideoCardz
got its hands on the review schedule of NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 3060 video card. Some of the details are less interesting but one of the key highlights is that NVIDIA's current plan indicates GeForce RTX 3060 video cards can be seeded to the press starting on February 19th. An exact date for when the reviews can be published or when retailers will be allowed to sell the card is still unknown. Based on the February 19 date, availability of the card shouldn't be expected until the last week of February.
Interestingly, VideoCardz also heard that NVIDIA has taken some measures to ensure the initial product assortment will include products at the official MSRP:
What some of our readers may find interesting is that NVIDIA guidelines for an on-shelf date are that retailers must include products at MSRP in the ‘initial product assortment’. What this means is that AIC cards should technically be available at this price at the launch. There are no guidelines for what might happen to the pricing later, as NVIDIA has no legal way to enforce it on retailers.
