Day ago news hit the wire that Intel launched the Iris Xe discrete video card in cooperation with two add-in board partners. The launch partners were rumored to be Colorful and ASUS, but now Colorful has issued an official statement to deny this rumor.

VideoCardz thinks the statement is likely the result of a wrong description on the Intel website. One of the Iris Xe cards on Intel's website was named "colorful-2-fan-dg1-angle-1-rwd.png.rendition.intel.web.720.405.png". The card also uses exactly the same cooling solution as what Colorful uses for its RTX 2060 BattleAx. VideoCardz speculates both models are made in the same factory.
It is unclear why Intel has named the file in such a way, but one would guess that the manufacturing facility is basically making the same design for Colorful and other brands, in this case, the coolers for Intel Iris OEM cards and Colorful RTX 2060 BattleAx.
The Iris Xe cards are exclusively sold to OEMs and will not hit the retail channel.
