Raja Koduri shows Xe-HPG can run 3DMark Mesh Shader test

A week or two ago, Igor Wallossek shared the results of his tests of the Intel Iris Xe MAX (DG1) software development vehicle. It was an early look at Intel's discrete video cards and Igor concluded it was basically a mess as nothing worked properly. This is a low-end model that will not hit the retail market.

Now Intel's Raja Koduri shares a new picture on Twitter. The image below is said to be a screenshot of a system with the Xe-HPG running the upcoming 3DMark Mesh Shader feature test. Mesh Shading is a new feature that's part of the DirectX 12 Ultimate API. Xe-HPG is Intel's new gaming GPU, it's expected to be out later this year. It will be interesting to see if Intel can deliver on its promises.
