Laptop shipments to be hurt by component supply woes

DigiTimes reports shortages of various components will likely dampen the shipments of laptops in Q1 2021. The site says laptop makers have difficulties getting enough supply of display panels, LCD driver ICs, and passive components. In recent weeks, we've already covered that GPUs and AMD APUs are in short supply too. It's unknown if this will have an impact on the price of laptops.
