Gaming chairs were all the rage a couple of years ago but now it's been some time since I've last written about a new model. There's definitely a big market for this type of chairs, there are a lot of desktop PC gamers and everyone needs a chair. In the past, we used office chairs for this, but the average gaming chair is definitely of higher quality than the typical budget office chair. I've been using this model every single workday for over three years now -- and it's only just starting to show some wear and tear in the PU leather of the seating.

Today we have an announcement from Cougar about the firm's new Outrider S gaming chairs. This is a line of mid-sized gaming chairs with a steel five-star base, a full steel frame, high density mold shaping foam, a breathable extra-thick PVC leather surface, tilt mechanism, and 4D arm rests. The chair includes pillows for head and lumbar support.

Outrider S is adjustable in height, can recline 180 degrees, and has adjustable tilt resistance. Basically, all the default features of a typical gaming chair.

Cougar offers the Outrider S in three versions: black with orange Cougar logo highlights, a more pronounced black/orange version, and a black royal model with gold Cougar logos. The firm didn't reveal suggested retail pricing.
