Cooling specialist be quiet! reveals the Shadow Rock Slim 2 processor cooler. This updated version of the Shadow Rock Slim offers a compact, space-saving design and has a new mounting kit that promises to make installation easier than ever.

The cooler has four direct-touch heatpipes and an aluminum fin array that's cooled by a single 135mm PWM fan with a noise level of maximum 23.7dBA. The HSF measures 74mm x 137mm x 161mm, it weighs 690g and has a rated cooling capacity of 160W.

be quiet! says the Shadow Rock Slim 2 will hit the market on July 27th for 45.90EUR.

Shadow Rock Slim 2
Shadow Rock Slim 2 provides an impressive cooling capacity of 160W TDP and is designed for those searching for high-performance air cooling in a compact design. The brushed aluminum top cover surface adds a touch of elegance to this premium cooler.

Ensuring perfect heat transfer
Shadow Rock Slim 2 is equipped with four 6mm heat pipes that have aluminum caps. This is key to its great cooling performance, because they transport the heat to optimum locations on the cooling fins.

Even at 100% fan speed, the overall noise is a mere 23.7dB(A)
The silence-optimized 135mm be quiet! fan supports the best balance between cooling performance and quietness. The fan operates especially smoothly thanks to its nine airflow-optimized fan blades and durable rifle-bearing technology.

Maximizes conductance of heat
Thanks to Heat pipe Direct Touch (HDT) technology the heat from the CPU is absorbed directly by the four 6mm high-performance copper heat pipes.

The perfect choice for compact PC enclosures
The compact design saves space and allows easy access to RAM banks even within the tight confines afforded by some compact PC enclosures. Due to an optimized mounting kit, installation is now even easier.
