Maxtor DiamondMax Hard Drive Comparison

I am not a GEEK made a small comparison of 2 Maxtor DiamondMax Hard Drives :
At the time I am writing this article, Maxtor has no fewer than 9 products available in their line-up of ATA hard drives. With so many options just from one manufacturer, and several other manufacturers out there with competing products, choosing the right drive for your application may seem like a difficult task. I won’t claim to be able to analyze every drive available, pinpointing which one is right for every application... but I will take a look at two of Maxtor’s more popular drives, the DiamondMax Plus 8 and the DiamondMax D740X. Using the 40 GB models of these two Maxtor drives, I will provide a comparison of the drive basics.
