According to their sources the $399 will be smaller than its predecessor and will feature a 80GB HDD while the $299 will feature double the capacity (40GB). The color options will likely be the same as the iPod nano, white and black. But unfortunately it looks like there's no iPod video.
Apple is reportedly not worried about extending the capacity gap between the 4GB iPod nano and the current 20GB iPod as the nano and iPod mini it replaced have sold far more units than the full-size ipod. Meanwhile, one Madonna fan site has predicted that Apple will debut a pink Madonna-edition iPod nano.
