It's not entirely unexpected but it seems Intel may not be able to keep its promise to deliver the ARC Alchemist video cards in a speedy fashion. In a new YouTube video, Moore's Law is Dead explains he heard from various sources that there will not be a proper launch this quarter.

Not going to happen before April... or even June

Some low-end offerings for the laptop market could happen in April but the high-end desktop parts may not arrive before May or June. A paperlaunch could be in the cards for March, possibly at PAX East (Feb 27 - March 1) or at E3 2022 if it's a June launch.
Two of the sources claim that Intel will be making some announcements at a gaming convention before launching the actual hardware. However, it is not clear what convention is being discussed, as one quote mentions Pax East (Feb 27 – Mar 1), while the other claims it’s happening in Q2 so maybe even E3 2022.
So why the delays? It's still the same concern that was rumored last year. Immature drivers are reportedly the most commonly cited reason for the delay of Intel's ARC Alchemist. Making good hardware is one thing, but writing good video card drivers is equally a necessity.

When Intel's cards finally arrive, consumers will be able to use them for everything ranging from office productivity, content creation, casinoroo.io, and video games.
