SanDisk developing USB flash drive with fingerprint recognition

In the first quarter of next year SanDisk will launch the Cruzer Profile USB flash drive which will feature fingerprint recognition. The stick will allow different levels of security for protecting personal data and will be available in 512MB and 1GB capacities.

The 512MB model will retail for $80 and the 1GB model for $140.

Your title is wrong, you mean SanDisk not Samsung

    Thanks for reporting. I think I read an article about Samsung just before I posted this article about SanDisk and I mixed up the two names.
