Toshiba launches Gigabeat P5 and P10 digital audio players

Toshiba has launched a new line of quite strange looking Gigabeat P-series digital audio players, DAP Review reports.

The Gigabeat P5 comes with 512MB memory and the Gigabeat P10 has 1GB storage capacity. They are priced at approx. 100EUR and 130EUR, respectively.

The players feature a small 96 x 96 pixels OLED display that can display JPEG images, support for MP3/WMA + DRM protected audio files, FM tuner, voice recording and line-in encoding.

It has a built-in li-ion battery which should last for 14 hours per charge. The players measure 82 x 31.9 x 13.2mm and weig about 49g.

They will be available next month in Japan.
