Xbox 360 console to get MSN Messenger

Within the next six months Microsoft will release new software for its Xbox 360 console, The Inq reveals.
It will be used to send and receive text messages within the existing MSN mobile phone network. So even when your mates are down at the pub, you can still brag about the n00bs you're pwning in Call of Duty 2.

Apparently, there will be no fee for this service. So, the 18% of smartphones and PDas in Europe that use Windows Mobile as their operating system will soon be able to talk with X360s at not charge.
