Sony Cyber-Shot S600 digital camera launched at CES

Today Sony launched the Cyber-Shot S600 digital camera at CES 2006 in Las Vegas.

This 6 megapixel digital camera features a 3x optical zoom lens from Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar along with a 2.0-inch LCD display.

Sony says this camera has anti-blur technology to take sharper photographs, a high sensitivity (up to ISO 1000), a strong flash capable of taking shots from up to 11m away (at ISO 1000) and 6x digital zoom along with 13x VGA smart zoom to help you view subject near and far.

And with the 16:9 shooting mode you can even shoot wide-screen images for playback on your wide-screen TV.

The camera has 32MB internal memory and will be available in mid-January.
