Toshiba launches Centrino Duo based notebooks

Toshiba announced a complete lineup of Intel Centrino Duo based notebooks at CES 2006. These notebooks use the Intel Core Duo processor, Intel Mobile 945 Express chipset and the Intel PRO/Wireless 3945 ABG network chip.

  • Portege M400 Tablet PC 12.1-inch diagonal XGA display with integrated optical drive
  • Tecra A6 with 14.1-inch diagonal WXGA widescreen display
  • Tecra A7 with 15.4-inch diagonal WXGA widescreen display
  • Tecra M5 with 14.1-inch diagonal WXGA widescreen display
  • Consumer
  • Qosmio next-generation "four-in-one" audio-video notebook series with 17-inch diagonal WXGA widescreen display
  • Satellite M100 with 14-inch diagonal WXGA widescreen display
  • Satellite A100 with 15.4-inch diagonal WXGA widescreen display
  • Satellite P100 with 17-inch diagonal WXGA widescreen display
  • Complete configurations and pricing for all products but the next-generation Qosmio will be announced in February. Select models will also offer versions incorporating the Intel Core Solo mobile processor. The next-generation Qosmio series specifications and pricing will be announced in March 2006.
