The Inq saw the Lexar Jumpdrive Mercury USB flash stick at CES 2006 in Las Vegas.

The special thing about this USB stick is the usage meter on the side, showing you how much memory is still available on the stick. However, it doesn't use an LCD display, instead it uses ePaper which doesn't drain the battery.

The 1GB one will cost $60-70 and the 2GB version will cost $100-110. They will be available within a few months.
