MSI presents solar-powered notebook

Last week at CES 2006 in Las Vegas, MSI was presenting some interesting products.

One of these was a prototype of a notebook powered by solar-power. The cover of this notebook is covered with solar energy panels, like you can see on the picture. However, it isn't sure whether this product will reach volume shipments as it's still in developmental stage.

Another interesting product is the MSI Geminium-Go graphics card series which feature upgradeability, low power consumption and high efficiency. This PCI Express x16 features two NVIDIA MXM (mobile PCI Express module) interfaces, MSI says.

These graphics cards will enter volume production later this quarter.
