ATI Radeon X1900 XTX is a 1.1 teraflops beast

Posted on Saturday, January 14 2006 @ 01:26:25 CET by

The Inquirer heard the upcoming ATI Radeon X1900 XTX (R580), which will likely be launched on January 24th, will do a staggering 1.1 teraflops.
That's quite a few flops more than a CPU, which is generally reckoned to be the brain of a computer.
