Microsoft planning to launch smartphones?

The Inquirer has an interesting rumour today about the feature of Windows Mobile.

Apparently Microsoft is tired of porting its applications to other vendors products and is secretly designing its own cell phone.

More details aren't available yet but this could get quite interesting.
