Alienware released two new workstations fully equipped to take on the demands of today's top creative professionals: the Intel-based MJ-12 7500i and the AMD-based MJ-12 7500a. The MJ-12 7500i and MJ-12 7500a are loaded with a cutting-edge NVIDIA nForce4 SLI X16-based motherboard featuring two full bandwidth16-lane PCI Express slots to ensure optimized and scalable performance for digital content creators and developers.

The MJ-12 7500i is available with dual-core Intel Pentium processors while the MJ-12 7500a can be configured with dual-core AMD Opteron processors. Dual-core technology, which delivers comparable power to dual CPUs at a lower cost, allows these new Alienware workstations to provide enhanced multitasking capabilities and outstanding performance on multi-threaded digital media applications and other processor-intensive projects.

Offering the ultimate graphics solutions, the MJ-12 7500i and MJ-12 7500a are available with the NVIDIA Quadro(R) FX 4500 graphics cards to deliver incredibly realistic rendered images. These workstations also maximize users' storage flexibility with hard drives in RAID 0 and 1 configurations that provide up to 2TB of total data storage. Furthermore, different Alienware Acoustic Dampening options allow these systems to maintain quiet and cool operation, even under heavy use, by supplying up to a 40% reduction in noise levels and offering Alienware's proprietary Liquid Cooling technology.
