Both support the upcoming Conroe processors, 1066MHz FSB and dual-channel DDR2-800.

The G965 will feature Intel's next-generation GMA graphics solution with dual display but their will also be a Q965 version without the dual display feature.

The 965 chipsets will be delivered with the ICH8 series southbridges, including the ICH8R, ICH8DH and ICH8HO.
