Dell has dropped its hard disk digital audio player lineup after failing to grab marketshare from Apple's iPod.

The three Digital Jukebox players that sold for $200 to $300 have been discontinued but the company will continue selling the DJ Ditty which costs $99.

Last year Apple's iPod accounted for nearly 69% of all MP3 players sold in the U.S.
