Micron to combine its memory units

BusinessWeek reports Micron is going to combine its mobile and system memory business units into one memory group.
The company also said it named Mark Durcan, currently chief technical officer and vice president of research and development, to the position of chief operating officer.

Durcan, 44, joined Micron in 1984, the company said. He will be responsible for Micron's global operations as well as research and development.
