Intel Averill business platform coming in Q3

Intel will launch its Averill platform for business users in the third quarter of 2006, DigiTimes reports.

The Averill platform will include the Averill Pro and the Averill Fundamental. The Averill Pro platform features dual-core Conroe processors and the Q965 chipset whereas the Averill Fundamental series features the Pentium D and the Q963 chipset.
