Cougar Spike Mini-ATX Case review

The storage potential in the Spike is quite limited, there are only two 3.5" bays but there's also some space reserved for a single SSD. This 2.5" storage device can be secured to the bottom of the chassis with four screws.

A 120mm Cougar fan is preinstalled in the rear. The power supply is installed in the top and at the bottom are four expansion slots that use breakout covers (which can't be reused). There are no pre-made holes for watercooling tubing, but the potential for liquid cooling in this compact case is quite limited.

Cable management is also quite tricky with this case, there are no special cable routing provisions and there's zero room behind the motherboard plate.

To install the front devices, you need to remove the front panel. The front panel feels quite sturdy and houses a removable dust filter for the front fan.
