NVIDIA working on GeForce 8600 GTS with 256-bit memory bus

Posted on Monday, April 30 2007 @ 13:24:47 CEST by Thomas De Maesschalck

According to our friends from Chile Hardware, NVIDIA is working on a new GeForce 8600 GTS graphics card which may be unveiled in June at Computex.

The clockspeeds are all the same as the current GeForce 8600 GTS, but the card will feature 512MB of memory and a 256-bit memory bus instead of only 128-bit.
