Chile Hardware got their hands on a copy of AMD's official chipset roadmap for the rest of the year and the first half of 2009.

The roadmap indicates AMD will unveil 790FX, 790GX, 790X and 780G/780V chipsets in Q3 2008. The 790FX and 790GX use the SB750 Southbridge and the other chipsets come with the SB700. In the fourth quarter AMD will roll out the 780G IGP chipset with SB750 Southbridge and in the first quarter of 2009 AMD will release the RD790 + SB750, this is the first chipset from AMD with DDR3 memory support.

In the second quarter of next year we can expect the RD890 and the RS880 IGP chipset, both models support DDR3 memory and will use the new SB800 Southbridge.
