Posted on Wednesday, October 08 2008 @ 06:22:49 CEST by Thomas De Maesschalck

AC Ryan unveiled a small pocket size cable that connects your 2.5" SATA HDDs to a USB port.
Naked drives gets a new cool tool - the UDrive Mini - a simple small pocket size cable that connects your naked drive to USB.

Connected in only 3 simple no-brainer Steps!
    1. Slip Drive Protector around your naked drive
    2. Connect the UDrive Mini to your naked drive
    3. Plug into USB

2.5" SATA Drives The UDrive Mini works for all 2.5" SATA Drives. With 2.5" drives getting bigger in capacity (500GB 2.5" drives are already readily available in the market), 2.5" drives are charging up the market in popularity. The small pocketsize format of 2.5" drives makes it ideal for portable storage.

No External Power Needed the UDrive Mini powers your drive directly from USB, no messing around with power adaptors.

One USB Connector plug in one USB connector that takes care of both power and data. In few cases where your notebook / device provide less than standard power on the USB, the UDrive Mini comes with a extra USB connector to provide extra power from a 2nd USB port.

Stackable Drive Protector Also included is a shock absorber silicon protector that slips around your naked drive. The drive protector is designed to be stackable so you can neatlly stack up your collection naked drives.
