Gigabyte GeForce GTX 285 spotted in Asia

HKEPC spotted a GeForce GTX 285 graphics card from Gigabyte in a computer shop in Hong Kong. The Gigabyte GV-N285-1GH-B card features a 55nm GeForce GTX 285 GPU with 240 shaders, 648MHz core, 1GB of GDDR3 memory clocked at 2484MHz and 1476MHz shaders.

The card has a TDP of 183W, a significant reduction over the 236W TDP of the 65nm GeForce GTX 280. Shops in Hong Kong sell the GeForce GTX 285 for 3,200 to 3,400 Hong Kong dollars, which equates to around US$413 - $439 at the current currency exchange rate.
