ATI Radeon HD 5870 specifications (official slide)

ATI Forum published a photo of a slide from the presentation AMD held yesterday. It reveals the Radeon HD 5870 is a DirectX 11 GPU with a theoretical computing power of 2.72 teraFLOPS. The GPU is clocked at 850MHz and it has 1600 shader processors. The regular model has 1GB GDDR5 memory clocked at 4800MHz, the TDP of the card is 188W and the idle power consumption is 27W. Pricing will be under $400.
