Palit has added a 2GB model to its GeForce GTX 460 lineup. The card features a custom cooler and slightly overclocked frequencies.
It's 700MHz core speed is 25MHz higher than reference speed with the 2GB memory clocked at 1800MHz. The larger frame buffer combined with the factory overclock means gamers can enjoy extreme performance playing DX10/DX11 games at higher resolutions with the best quality image. Compared to the previous generation of GeForce GTX 285 2GB cards, the Palit GTX460 Sonic 2GB achieves 12% better performance at 1920x1200 resolutions.
