AMD prepping Comal platform to compete with Ivy Bridge

Turkish tech site Donanim Haber heard AMD is cooking up the Comal platform to compete with Intel's next-gen Ivy Bridge platform:
AMD working on Comal mobile platform to compete with Intel's Ivy Bridge.

Here is the platform details;

- Trinity and Richland APUs (Piledrive CPU cores and next-gen Fusion GPU)
- Higher Frequency DDR3 support and FS1r2 package
- AMD A70M, A60M FCH (Fusion Controller Hub)
- London series (Mobility HD 7000M) mobil discrete graphics

Deccan platform for essentials and entry level mainstream segments, Comal platform for high-end mainstream and performance segments. Comal platform will be launched sometimes in 2012.
