EKL reveals Alpenföhn Wasser liquid cooling kit

German cooling firm EKL presents the Alpenföhn Wasser, a new rebadged Asetek sealed liquid cooling product for Intel LGA775/1155/1156/1366/2011 and AMD Socket AM2/AM3/FM1 series processors.

The Wasser features a fourth generation copper cold plate, which promises better thermal conductivity than liquid cooling kits that feature a previous generation cold plate.

The radiator measures 151mm x 120mm x 27mm and comes with a 120mm EKL WingBoost Pure Plus 120mm PWM fan that offers up to 101m³/h (59.4CFM) at a noise level of 24.8dBA.

The official MSRP is 69.90EUR, which is quite a lot considering that the Asetek-based Antec H20 620 is already available for under 50EUR.
